Michael is responsible for all aspects of CPF’s financial functions, fund administration, compliance and office operations.
His experience in building financial functions and controls is reflected in the firms processes he has helped form and that continues to grow with his leadership.
Experienced in both the private equity and real estate industries, he brings to CPF more than three decades of experience in fund accounting, establishing financial systems, procedures and controls. He was the Chief Financial Officer for River Branch Capital, a boutique investment bank focused on financial services industry.
Prior to that, Michael spent two decades at Madison Dearborn Partners in leadership positions, including as Chief Financial Officer. He has served in financial management roles with the First National Bank of Chicago and First Chicago Venture Capital.
He was a Bank Holding Company Examiner with The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and managed real estate investments for The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. He holds a B.S. and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
